June 03 — Why Did Christ Die? We recently had Phil Sanders, preacher at Concord Road Church in Brentwood (Nashville) Tennessee, as one of our guest speakers. He and his message were so well received, we have invited him back to speak on a subject that he is very passionate about. He will speak on this title, “Why Did Christ Die?”
June 10 — Marriage Is Honorable June is commonly called “wedding month.” However, in our present-day American culture, about fifty percent of couples (with or without children) are living together, but not married. America needs a restoration of the sanctity of marriage.
June 17 — Living Joyfully in Christ Although the apostle Paul was confined to prison when he wrote his letter to the Christians at Philippi with its bishops and deacons, he encouraged and exemplified the virtue of joyfulness. That says that even in times of trial, Christians can rejoice.
June 24 — Christ's Transfiguration “Mountain-top experiences.” You have had them. We all have. Jesus had them, too. Our message today will be about one of them. It was a glorious experience for the “inner three” disciples, Peter, James and John. What does it mean to us?
