September 4 - MY EBENEZER It's recorded in the 7th chapter of I Samuel that after the Lord had given Israel a great victory over the Philistines, Samuel raised an ebenezer "to the help God supplied His people." On this day this year Mack Lyon raises his ebenezer to the help God has supplied the SEARCH ministry for 25 years.
September 11 - THE CHURCH IS THE KINGDOM It is the common belief in 21st Century Christianity that Christ came to establish a kingdom but was foiled in His plan by the Jews who crucified Him; and that He established the church instead; and will establish His kingdom when He comes again. But is that what the Bible teaches?
September 18 - BE RECONCILED TO GOD Man is created in the image of God, and because of that, he is called "the offspring of God" (Acts 17:28). But when sin enters a person's life, man is separated from the Creator/Father. If he is to live with God in the here and now and in the hereafter, he must be reconciled with God. How can that be?
September 25 - FOR CONSCIENCE SAKE Conscience is the awareness of being responsible for one's own intentions or conduct whether "good" or "bad." It was once thought to be a desirable quality of character, but is rapidly becoming more frowned upon. One who is conscientious is often considered a "radical" or "extremist." What does the Bible say?
