JAN 2 - RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH How much do you read the Bible? Do you have difficulty understanding what you read? If so, this message is just for you. What does the Scripture mean which says, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth?” Let’s see.
JAN 9 - CONVERSION EXPERIENCES In a lot of radio and TV preaching emphasis is given to “conversion experiences” – relating how certain celebrities of the political, entertainment and sports world received Christ. God knew long before man did, the value of examples of conversion and gave us a number of them in the Scriptures. We will study some of them in this program.
JAN 16 - FAITH IS NOT A LEAP IN THE DARK Webster’s dictionary says,” faith is a firm belief in something for which there is no proof.” The Christian faith is founded securely on the trustworthy evidence in the Bible. The Scripture says, “Faith comes by hearing the word of God.” Let us see.
JAN 23 - REPENTANCE Repentance! What is repentance? Is it a direct operation of the Holy Spirit on the human heart? Is it the same as “doing penance?” Is it essential to a person’s salvation, in addition to “just believing?” Stay tuned, let’s see what the bible says.
JAN 30 - IN CHRIST, THERE’S A NEW LIFE Suicide is a leading cause of death among the youth and the aged. Why do people end their own lives? Since they are dead, we may never know. Perhaps - just perhaps - life as they’ve lived it has become too much. If they only knew it, in Christ there’s a new life.
