July 4 - RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS A NATION When I consider the odds against my having been born in America, I’m overwhelmed. How about you? Were you born here? Or did you choose to be an American? What comes easy is often perceived to be of little worth. So it seems with some people and their American citizenship. On this July 4th let’s take time to thank God for America and ask His blessings on her.
July 11 - THE ONE BAPTISM OF EPHESIANS 4 There are several baptisms mentioned in the New Testament: baptism of the Holy Spirit, baptism of fire, baptism of suffering, baptism in the cloud and in the sea and water baptism. Which one is the “one baptism” of Ephesians 4:5?
July 18 - THE LOVE OF TRUTH The Bible speaks of those who will be eternally lost, not because they did not receive the truth, but because they received not the love of the truth --such love is not in them. Of course there are people who will not accept truth because it isn’t what they want to hear or live by.
