1.1.12 – "I AM RESOLVED"

God has graciously given us a new year. What will you do with it? The beginning of a new year offers us an opportunity to begin some good habits in our journey of life. These habits can help us to draw close to God and please Him.

1.8.12 – "SPEAKING TRUTH"

In all ages God has regarded bearing false witness to be a transgression of His law. Many today see little harm in gossip, false accusations, or slander. We must be careful in the way we speak, so we may give grace to those who hear.

1.15.12 – "GOD'S INSPIRED WORD"

“God enriched our lives by giving us His heart and mind in the Bible, His inspired Word. We can trust the Bible as the sacred and authoritative path to life and godliness, because we can trust the God who inspired it.

1.22.12 – “NOT TOO HARD”

The Bible is the best-selling book of all time and comes today in hundreds of languages. Some think the Bible is too hard to understand, but the common man has read the Bible for centuries and understood its timeless message.

1.29.12 – “OUT OF DARKNESS”

Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. By saving them, He changes their hearts, their lives, and their destinies. We can choose no Lord greater than Jesus Christ, who brought hope, life, and immortality to mankind.

2.5.12 – "BORN IN SIN?"

Some say children are born in sin and inherited a sinful nature from Adam. Others say children are really born innocent. How does Scripture describe the nature of man and are children lost from birth?

2.12.12 – "FAITH ALONE?"

While everyone realizes that we are saved by faith, some say we are saved by faith alone. Is faith the only thing God requires of humans to be saved, or are there other things men must do in order to meet God’s conditions for salvation?

2.19.12 – "FREE WILL"

Some say God has chosen from eternity past those who will be saved and those who will be lost, while others say man has freewill and can choose whether he will serve God. What does the Bible say about the freewill of man?

2.26.12 – "CAN CHRISTIANS BE LOST?"

Some say once a Christian is saved, he can never be lost. Others believe that a Christian can fall away from his faith and lose his salvation. What does the Bible say? Does man need to do anything to maintain his relationship with God?

3.4.12 – "WHERE COULD I GO?"

The old hymn asks, “Where could I go but to the Lord?” In a world filled with moral temptation, spiritual struggles, and many social problems, we have no place better to go than to the Lord. The Lord has the answers and the help we need. We must go to Him!

3.11.12 – "I HAVE FAILED"

Everyone has known the heartache of failure at some point in life. But failure should not cause us to separate ourselves from God. Instead our weaknesses and failures should bring us closer to God. What can you do when you have failed?

3.18.12 – "WHEN YOUR HEART BREAKS"

When our hearts break and tragedy strikes, we desperately need the help of God to comfort and strengthen us. In tragic times, God has not abandoned or forgotten us. God doesn’t take away every pain, but He helps us through it to become better people.

3.25.12 – "THE LORD’S DAY"

The Lord’s Day is the first day of the week, the day early Christians remembered the body and blood of the Lord Jesus by eating the Lord’s Supper. Christians, unlike the Jews, do not observe the Sabbath. They worship on the first day of the week.

Since each of us will one day face judgment, we need to know who will judge us, what the basis of that judgment will be, and how we can prepare for the Judgment Day. Will you be ready for that day?

4.29.12 – “HEAVEN”

Every faithful Christian longs to live eternally in heaven with God. Heaven is a blessed place free from the pain and the sin found in this world. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life may enter.

5.13.12 – "A PRISONER TO SIN"

Christians love the Lord but sometimes find themselves doing things they’re ashamed of. In this program we’ll explore what causes people to become enslaved to sinful habits and what they can do to break free.

The New York Times recently revealed that of mothers under 30, more children were born out of wedlock than within. Coming generations will hardly see moral examples in their parents. There is a crying need for moral purity.

What would you do if you found yourself in jail on false charges? Would you get bitter or throw a pity party? In this lesson we’ll explore how faith can help us face the harshest problems of life.

6.17.12 – "THE GOSPEL AND SALVATION"

How does God communicate salvation? Some say it’s by a special feeling or a miraculous experience, but the Scriptures teach that God communicates salvation through the gospel. In this lesson we’ll learn how God’s message saves.

6.24.12 – "GOOD PEOPLE"

How do we determine the truth? “Good people” often disagree about truth. Some are unwilling to hold to their convictions because some “good people” believe otherwise, but in our efforts to be humble we must not ignore God’s truth.

We spend years developing educationally and physically, but have you thought about developing spiritually? We’re spiritual beings and have a life beyond. We must prepare for eternity.

7.8.12 – "GIVE US A STANDARD"

The morality of the nation in these times is well defined in a statement by Paul Begala, a White House staffer a decade or so ago. He said, “Define and create the reality you want.” We very badly need a standard of right and wrong. Where can we find it?

7.15.12 – "SIN DESTROYS A PEOPLE"

God said in Proverbs 14:34, “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people.” If God were taking a look at America today, would God regard us as righteous?

While God freely gives us salvation, discipleship demands everything. To be a disciple of Christ, we must put Him first; but the privilege of discipleship is worth every sacrifice.

Many people go to worship each Sunday, but do they understand what they are doing and Whom they are worshiping? Some churches have turned their worship into musical productions. What does God desire in our worship?

How God sees our worship and how we see our worship may differ greatly. Things we may like are sometimes problems to God. God does not accept all that people call worship. He asks that we honor Him by how we worship.

8.26.12 – “WORSHIP IN SONG”

Music is one of the most powerful influences in life. God desires our worship in song to glorify Him in spirit and in truth. How we worship God in song matters to God, and it should matter to us.

Those who became Christians in the New Testament were baptized or immersed in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins. Baptism is the time when God washes away sins by the blood of Jesus and makes one His child.

11.11.12 – "HOPE"

Hope is to the soul what breath is to the body. We simply cannot live without hope that something better is coming. God gives us that hope! He is the answer to the struggles of life we face each day.

11.18.12 – "LET GOD BE GOD"

From the beginning of time, man has questioned the authority of God. Do we let God be God or do we simply live as we please? What does it mean to live under the authority of God? In this lesson we’ll explore what it means to let God truly be God.

11.25.12 – "DO WE NEED GOD?"

According to Will Durant, the greatest question of our day or any day is whether man can bear to live without God. We need the God of heaven, whether we know it or not. He is the source of all grace and blessing, and without Him we are nothing.

12.23.12 – "THE WORD BECAME FLESH"

Jesus was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word became flesh. When the Lord Jesus came into the world fashioned as man, He brought the greatest blessing this world has ever known. We are thankful the Word became flesh.

12.30.12 – "TRUST GOD"

In a world filled with doubt, it is comforting to know there is Someone we can trust. We all have times in our lives when we cry out as did the apostles, “Increase our faith.” The more we know about God, the more we trust Him.
