August 01 — Give Us a Standard

Suppose we had no standard of weights and measures. Suppose when you bought a pound of coffee, the merchant just poured some of it into a bag until it kind of felt like it was a pound. It might be 14 ounces or it could be 17 ounces. Many people treat religious truth by the way it makes them feel. We need a standard in religious faith, too.

August 08 — Christian Morality

A recent Gallup poll found three-fourths of Americans saying moral values in the United States are getting worse. Why are Americans becoming more immoral? In this program we will explore the causes of America’s moral decline and some things we can do about it.

August 15 — Constrained By God's Love

Have you sometimes felt “constrained” or “compelled” to do – or to not do something? Oh, I’m sure you have. All of us have. What constrained or compelled you? Think about it, and I am sure you will want to hear this message.

August 22 — That Which Is Perfect

Do I believe in miracles in the early church of Christ. Oh yes, I do! Then in my strong appeal for a restoration of New Testament Christianity, must I believe in miracles in the 21st century church. If not, why not?

August 29 — People Can Change

God created man with the gift of change. Therefore, people have hope; even people who have made serious mistakes of judgment in life’s choices. God says, “Do I have pleasure at all that the wicked shall die…and that he should turn from his ways and live?”
